How Do Structures Help?

Structures can be a very benificial things to players in thier early, middle or late game, structures provide shelter from the elements but protect the player from monster attacks. See Minecraft Animals and Monster pages for more details about monster attacks.

When a player stumbles upon a cave they will hear this

Minecraft Stronghold

Strongholds

  • Also known as the portal to The End
  • Found deep undergound, using the eye of ender to locate it
  • Consists of large rooms such as a library and loot scattered about.
Minecraft Mineshaft

Mineshafts

  • An undergound mineshaft that was abandoned
  • Exploring will reveal different ores such as Dimonds, Emeralds, Coal Iron, Gold and Lapis
  • Often contains rails which is a good source for transportation.
Minecraft Dungeon

Dungeon

  • A small room with a enemy spawner inside
  • Contains a music disk which can be played from a juke box
  • Players can break the spawner or put a torch over it to stop spawning of enemies
Minecraft Ancient City

Ancient City

  • A large cave filled with Skulk. A type of block used by the warden
  • Be quiet here, the warden can hear every footstep the player makes
  • Valuable loot can be found here, the Warden cannot be defeated easily
Burried Treasure

Ancient City

  • A small chest found on the beaches of minecraft
  • Players will have to find the map to locate the treasure
  • Loot usually contains the heart of the sea, and ores such as dimonds.
A small village

Village

  • A group of buildings built and maintained by villagers.
  • Fining one can provide many reasources and trading opportunities.
  • These can spawn in any overwold biomes, except the jungle.
A small enemy outpost

Pillager Outpost

  • A tall tower built py the Pillagers, to take over the village
  • Fining one can provide many reasources such as emeralds, bow and arrows
  • These can spawn in any overwold biomes, except the jungle.
A small desert outpost

Desert Pryamid

  • A tall pryamid that only spawns in the desert biomes
  • At first glance it provides nothing, under the center of the floor is loot
  • Resoucres can be dimonds and sometimes bones and flint
A jungle temple

Jungle Temple

  • A tall temple made out of cobblestone, resembling a aincent look
  • At first glance there is nothing, there is a puzzle at the bottom of the stair case
  • Loot can consist of Dimonds, Obsidian, Golden Apples and more.
A ocean temple

Ocean Monument

  • A large temple the spawns in the oceans of Minecraft, random placement.
  • Sponges and lanterns can be found inside, watch out for guardians.
  • Guardians protect the temple by killing players and enemies before taking the loot.
Shipwreck

Ocean Monument

  • A ship that has sunk to the bottom of the ocean floor
  • Usually contains one or more vauable items such as burried treasure maps and more
  • Be careful not to drown from lack of oxygen!

  • A abanonded underwater structure
  • Contains a chest with burried treasure map and other items
  • Be careful not to drown from lack of oxygen!
